the gentleman i bought my R100 from today invited me to ride his 1980 R80 - that he just freshen up the engine - he ordered some 9 1/2 pistons from Germany - talk about a smooth running bike - tons of power - anywhere in second gear just crack the thottle & the front wheel was off the pavement - i was totally impressed - what a great motorbike - put a smile on this old farts face i tell ya - tommy
