my wife has hung up her leathers after riding on the back seat for 40 years & hundreds & thousands of miles together - i have to admit i'm having a very difficult time with it - i really don't know how to express it - after this many years it's just not the same - the last thing i would do is try to press her to change her mind - i think motorcycle riding is a very personal choice - this is almost as bad as when i quit smoking - i miss that slap on the back of my helmet when i'm running to fast :cry

Maybe it was her fear of iceballs hurled at you as you ride?
My wife decided to quit riding with me, right after I bought a real 2-up touring rig, boy I really miss her on rides. :brow

i'm not ready to quit & my wife is fine with that - she know's the passion i have for motorcycles of all kinds - i do feel that my K75RT has extened my riding career- i personally can handle it so much better than a wing - we are talking a major weight difference here - tomm
