Hi,
I recently bought a set of 1985 cams for installing in my 1987 K100RS. For info these are the part numbers:
-01 11 31 1 461 525 Inlet Camshaft 256 GRAD
-01 11 31 1 460 045 Inlet Camshaft 284 GRAD <--- 1985 Euro Intake
-02 11 31 1 461 526 Camshaft Exhaust 256 GRAD
-02 11 31 1 460 044 Camshaft Exhaust 284 GRAD <--- 1985 Euro Exhaust
I've asked on the IBMWR about installing the cams and a couple of the folks there thought that only the intake cam need to changed to get the performance improvement that I'm after. No one was sure nor where I could verify this. It does seem peculiar to me that ther would be two numbers for the cam if there was no difference.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Glenn
