My favorite hat is of course my red Red Sox hat (featured in my avatar). Bubba Zanetti (http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4930) just got a slick new cap, as did Ritalin Poster Boy (http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/showpost.php?p=47369&postcount=93) . What's everyone else wearing on their head these days?

I like anything that keeps the sun off of my bald head. :) Just joking, but seriously, right now I have an "official" 2004 Dale Jr. Budweiser hat with the flex fit inner rim.
The hat looks to be burnt champaign overall, accented with medium burgundy stitching.
Pictures upon request...

Dude, your post is USELESS without pictures. ;)
And to be fair, I didn't post one either, so here's my avatar a bit bigger:

Well, kinda. But tomorrow morning when I leave, it'll probably be in the low 40s. Crossing some of the passes will be chilly, no doubt there, and I'll be out all day. I wear it under my helmet and it keeps my noggin warm.
When I'm snoozing in the tent, it keeps me warmer too. :dunno
It's winter here in NorCal. I was in LA the first part of this week and I couldn't get over how warm it was.

Sure Tommy,
The top half of her head with some legs and feet in the background. That is pure art. I wonder how many times they had to practice that one before "the shot" came around.

Hello; don't any of you people wear the silk balaclava? I have an old Fillsons hat that I should have thrown away at least 10 years ago. It's kind of like a fishing hat with a broad brim, that's my favorite.

Ah yes. The Filson's hat. I've got a wide brim and a baseball hat style, both in the "tin hat" style that repels water.
This summer, I'll go back to a Red Sox hat or one of my other assorted MOA/BMW/Honda/Dakar/Guggenheim hats. A man can never have too many hats, you know.

Cool. Did he go to UI or IU. I might be heading over this summer to do some studying in Osterreich im Baden bei Wien, if I can find some money to swing it. Are you still going to be in Germany?

I'm pretty sure he went to UI, but I guess you don't know him, so it doesn't really matter anyway. Unfortunately, I won't be in Germany this summer; I'll be back in the good ole' USofA.

Well I'll probably see you at Pemi then. That's on the list of rallies to go to so far.

Now there's an idea - show up at the Forum Frenzy with your hat. This way we'll know who's on the forum and who's not. With some people, who shall remain nameless, but their initials are ...., it may be the only way to recognize them.
