I am in the middle of replacing the clutch and lubing the splines on my 94 R1100RS. I have what is known as a Beta bike, I know the clutch disc was changed later in 94, and am wondering if maybe the pressure plate was changed also. When I put mine together with the new disc it compresses the diaphram spring too far to have any travel at the clutch pushrod. Using the old disc allows the pushrod to work. Does any one know of any changes or am I missing something. I have put this thing back together four times tonight trying to find out the problem. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

You will need to buy the whole kit, everything gets changed, Sorry to say also a bit expensive. The clutch will gradualy start to slip on take off, Mine didn't start to go bad till 55000 mi.

I did an clutch job on Tina's RS and I needed to buy a new pressure plate to go with the clutch plate. They upgraded them after the betas.
