Just curious, any BMWMOA members in the Bryan/College Station - Brazos Valley region?

Primarily seeing if I can get my mileage forms signed, otherwise, I'll just turn them in as-is. Had to do that last year in the Hondo, Texas area.

Otherwise, I'll do a little KK with anyone who wants a cup somewhere around here?

My wife and I both are MOA members and we just relocated to the Bryan area in August. For now, we have mostly been on the Two-Wheeled Texans' site, been on a few weekly rides to a burger place here and one pie run to Elgin recently.

But haven't really been around any BMW groups since leaving Dallas two years ago.

Bryan,
Might have better luck in the Regional Forums...but a little ride to Smithville down by LaGrange next weekend will hook you up with a bunch of folks. Not that far a trip from Bryan down Hwy 21!

The Houston clubs annual meetup:

We are a tad further SW in Blanco...but will ride out to the rally Saturday

Thanks for the relocating....I forgot about regional forums. Another site I browse sort of removed "regional" forums, so I didn't think of that on this site.

Not sure on Smithville, have another work related event in Kerrville, the week after and that has chewed up funds, so my wife is saying "no" for now to Smithville. Otherwise, may compromise and three of us may ride to the area on Saturday from Bryan, but no overnight camping probably. Just a day run for some BBQ somewhere.

We just make it a day trip, so it's just fuel and food.

If you have the time and the $2 per bike...the run thru Buescher and Bastrop State Parks on Park Road 1 is pretty sweet thru the Lost Pines. Since you are coming from the Hwy 21 side...enter at Bastrop and pop out right outside Smithville. It is a bit narrow and has some roller coaster hills...but still a fun ride avoiding Hwy 71

There is a BBQ joint in downtown Smithville on Hwy 95...Zimmerhanzels...small and gets busy quick! The rally is just east of Hwy 95 at the Colorado River crossing on Hwy 71 . There is a place in Bastrop in front of the WalMart as well...the name is Cartwrights I believe...larger place for sure

Bryan...there are a couple of us in the area. I'm in College Station and a guy I ride with lives in Bryan. We usually go somewhere almost every weekend (breakfast or lunch rides) and do extended trips three or four times a year to Arkansas and Big Bend. Let me know if you'd like to hook up with us.
