I had to find another insurer when USAA would no longer take motorcycles. I ended up using Hagerty. I actually ended up pulling my R69S insurance from USAA and put it and my R25/2 on the new policy. I understand that JC Taylor and Condon & Skelly are other popular choices. The nice thing is that I can insure it for what ever I want, rather a bluebook value. I don't have any restrictions that I can recall on use, although some of the companies might.

American Collectors Insurance
You set the bikes replacement value and pay accordingly. They insure for theft, fire, everything. 5000 mile per year maximum mileage.

I just registered my '71 R75/5 as "Historic" so that I could use a 1970's vintage license plate here in NY.
I switched two motorcycles over to Progressive. I have better coverage now at a lower premium.

I use Progressive too. I stated that my '74 R90/6 was used for "weekend/parade" riding (or something like that), so I got a decent rate ($105 for the year!) for a only 36 year old airhead.

I've got 5 bikes insured with JC Taylor. I'm paying about $400/year to do that, with comp, collision and a stated value. There's no yearly mileage limit.

The only people who can give you advice that is worth anything to you are people from PA, better even the area you live in.
The way insurances work, they charge totally different rates for the same year and model bike and the same rider age to someone in California and someone in Ohio.
Like this: I have 13 bikes, 8 of them with "historic plates" and the most expensive of them (1971) with full coverage and full replacement value ( $11,000 based on a dealer estimate) is $186/year. State Farm, Ohio.
