A nice place to stay in the PNW

This is just an idea of mine. I have a little getaway place in The Dalles Oregon. I use it maybe 3 days a week. I was thinking of renting it to motorcyclist when I'm not there. A motel in town is about $135 a night. I would rent my place for say $65 a night. My place is much nicer, all new, full kitchen, lots of decks, motorcycle travel books/magazines and MC art on the walls. I keep a book of day trips on the coffee table. Many dual sport rides are also close by.

The Dalles is located in the heart of the Columbia river gorge. The annual sport bike rally is just 30 miles away. Maryhill grade is 20 miles away and the Rowena loops are just 10 miles out.

Fly and ride? No problem. I'll make the arrangements. You could fly to Portland, pickup your rented BMW and ride to The Dalles.

What do you guys think of my idea?

I live near SEA and am interested in your property for a weekend or two with my wife to use as a base of operations for day rides in the area.

I have been very busy trying to get this place ready. I'll be renting the bottom floor only at first. It is 1000 sq ft. Large livingroom, kitchen, laundry, bath, 1 bedroom with an office. I have covered parking for 2 bikes. I have not bought the beds yet. I'm thinking of a queen size in the bedroom and two twins in the office space. This unit would be great for up to 4 people (no more).
