I hope this is the right tread for this. My 1988 R100RS was just stolen from Knox st. in Atlanta Georgia. It was sitting on a trailer in front of my brothers house. Some one broke the window on my 1992 4 door S-10 Blazer and drove off with my truck, trailer and BMW. The truck has florida plates as well as the trailer. The bike is original pearl white paint and had saddle bags attached. It also has a Utah tag not sure of the number. The vin number is wb1046602j6247451. It was taken about two hours ago. If anyone has any contacts at any motorcycle shops in the Atlanta area could you please forward this to them. My wife will be making up flyers tonight to distribute tomorrow. Any suggestions? Bill Baxter :cry
I have updated the vin number to the correct number, please forward if you can. thanks, Bill

bill - this sucks. i assume you're doing the whole police thing too, right? we've had a few folks in here have their bikes stolen, and recovered later. usually some punks steal them and go for joy rides.

keep us posted.

feel your pain - the bastards got my trailer with both of my dirt bikes last week - 1 bike had 30 miles on it the other 1,100 - man it hurts- mine was for the dirt only - paid for - so i didn't put insurance on them - Ouch - lesson learned the hard way - tommy

Bill - sorry to hear this news. Just sent you a direct email as I live in the Atlanta area and would like to offer any help I can. I can put you in touch with some folks at local shops who might be able to offer assistance, and have a friend or two who are APD officers.

Let me know if I can help.

Chuck
