I just got back from an excellent adventure that started in Portland, Maine and took me to The Finger Lakes Rally in Watkins Glen, New York and then to The Blue Ridge Parkway end to end. I stayed in North Carolina for 5 days and rode as many roads as I could stand and of course did The Dragon, The Snake and The Cherahola Skyway along with a bunch of other roads. I had a blast! I stayed at the Willville Motorcycle Campground in Meadows of Dan, Virginia and The Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground in Cruso, North Carolina and both were excellent. The Finger Lakes Rally is the best rally I've ever been to except the national. If you've never done this trip, I highly recommend the ride and both of the motorcycle campgrounds. Thanks again for your help. Ride Safe, Don

Sorry for the late post, I'm just seeing it now.

It was great seeing you at the Finger lakes rally. It looks like we missed the Watkins Glen water falls trail right under our noses at the rally site, nice job on documenting it.

We missed you at CIC. Have a great winter, you guys will be freezing over soon.

Hey Bill,

It was great to see you at Finger Lakes, my RT was awaiting service for the front brake recall notice which is what stopped me from going to CIC. The entrance to the park where the waterfalls are is about 1 mile or so away from the registration area at Finger Lakes and easy to get to. You park your bike at the northern park entrance and then walk the mile and a half gorge trail and then at the bottom they have a shuttle bus that will bring you back to where you parked for $3.00. The pictures really don't do the waterfalls justice, they are amazing. See you at Pemi in June! Don
