Just like to say hi as I am reasonably new to the forum (lurking in the background) and have been a MOA member since 95. I ride a K1 as you can see (avatar) and have only been to one rally (Virginia Beach) while I was stationed at Andrews AFB (97-2000). I triy and do one trip per year and have made it to Sturgis two years ago. Also I was wondering what mods anybody has done to their K1s. Really in enjoy the Owners News and this forum great souces of info. :wave Glad to be here.

Yes the K1 is very cool and still gets lots of looks. People can't believe it is 15 years old. Well I got posted to Winnipeg because being in the US I have noone fighting to get me a good posting so I got leftovers. Also the family wanted to come back closer to the parents (Saskatoon) and as you might know if you get something good from the government they make you pay later on. So I'm stuck in Winnipeg but I am working just outside of Portage La Prairie at a training job. Later. :dunno

Welcome!! :wave
Love the K1.
I grew up in Winnipeg. Not much to say about the winter unless you like cross country skiing and snowmobiling...summers are the reward for surviving the winter...but then there are the mosquitos...A week at Grand Beach is the reward for escaping being carried away by the mosquitos!!

Hi and welcome! :wave
Nice K1 :thumb I just came in from the winterrally at Camp Blanding Fla :clap :clap , and there was a K1 with an original luggage tail-pack with cover. Never met the rider but it sure was a cool looking bike though :thumb
