Ahhh, the ol' Conch Republic....Which Island do you live on???

Spent many a winters down there camping and scuba diving in the early 80's.
Last time I "dove" there in '95,the Reef's were suffering big time from all the tourist/divers. Still one of my favorite places to visit! LUCKY U!!!!!!

Thanks! :D
I recently moved to Key Largo. I still work in Islamorada and lived there for 12 years or so. I am actually hoping that we get some of that colder air down here for a while, as the humidity is at 80% :cry Temps in the 60's would be just fine.
I like our normal 'winters' down here as the temps finally cool off enough to be more comfy in the riding gear. So far we haven't had much of that.
I know that 80's beats shovelling snow :doh , I used to do that too when my folks lived in Rockford IL, but the weather in Florida in 04 has been rediculous at best.
I remember in 1983 we broke a record for windchill in Indianapolis were we lived for 10 years, it was something like 100 below and we had ice hanging of the ceiling in the living room!! Now that was ffffffreezing!!!!!!!
Anywhoo people, stay warm and safe so may meet on the road. :thumb

Hmmmm, 82? Much too hot! The ac broke on my bike years ago, so I naturally enjoy the cooler climate currently blessing the mid-east coastlime. :D

I recently moved to Key Largo. I still work in Islamorada and lived there for 12 years or so.

I grew up in South Florida and spent a summer on Islamorada after undergrad school (1976). My dad took a freelance job to build the pitch and putt golf course at Cheeca Lodge for Jack Nicklaus. (Dad was Robert Trent Jones' primary coursebuilder...) I basically did the job, running the dozer and the tractor, because I couldn't find a job in my chosen field.

What a great summer! Man, did I ever have a bitchin' suntan.

And if you ever want to know where the phrase "Save the Bales" came from.... ;)
