so as i summed up, i had to leave my bike on the west coast after an injury (non-mc related) ended my adventure

but now i'm without a bike, fairly well healed and desperate to ride, its cold and snowy here but the roads are clear at the moment.

i'm tempted to go to a local boy scout camp where a friend stored his 1980 cb750 before we left in september (he upgraded to a new duc) and dig it out of storage and strap a marine battery to the back seat (bad stator plate) and just ride it around the camp and the back roads............

so tell me, does this sound like the actions of a desperate man??? (ever tried starting a 1970s/early 80s japanese 4 in the cold, hahahha.......)

Clearly, you are desperate. But you and the 750 at 25 years old are both adults. Wear proper protection (ATGATT!) and have fun.

I have started a '74 CB350 in the cold many times. Think of it as foreplay. ;) :rofl

Fore....play...blind look on face,stumbling forward,hand out...hua???

If your friend said Take my CB750,now;take it;otherwise, you are thinking of stealing it.

All it takes is enough battery and some gas.

Go man Go!!

Desperate times call for desperate measures specially when suffering from PMS(Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) :cry :cry . I say go for it but, you gotta post a pic or two of your adventure!!! :thumb

Yup, you gotta scratch the itch. GO for a spin and the miles would count for Rounder miles. :thumb
