I've been seeing indications that Triumph is possibly bring a 675 based Adventure bike to market. The model is to be an mid-weight version of the Tiger, a tiger w/ a street fighter (675cc triple) engine, bored to 800cc. Wow!

The new 1050 Tiger - BTW - is supposed to be more dual purpose than its predecessors. And the Tiger 800 is to be squarely aimed at the BMW F800GS.

Have any of you heard about these new models?

As a result of the previous post, while at a M/C open house, I saw the new '10 2300cc Triumph Rocket. I haven't paid much attention to the new British bikes but what a change. This giant Rocket has no resemblance to the Triumphs of old. The salesman insisted that I sit on the bike and then he started it and asked me to rev it a little. The torque was like a big slow roller in the ocean. What a difference, It's worth a peek. :thumb And nobody knew about the new-possible-800.
