I have been lurking about for a while and then a few months ago I thought it best to cough up my money to become a member - to help your economy out. :)
Now I thought it was about time that I spoke up.
It is not the Aussie way to just slip in the back door and not say G'day.
I ride an 07 RT with a few farkles - BMR Co-pilot Shelf, Zumo 550 GPS, Autocom, Skene Photon Blasters and P3 lights. With a few more in the wind.
We have some great roads to ride especially in south eastern Australia, not to mention heaps of off-road riding, albeit that I have "outgrown" that stuff - or is it just age?
Anyway, I enjoy your forum and hope to be able to contribute my 2 cents worth from time to time.

Welcome Phillip. My wife and I would like to ride your way some day. We've just got to get our boys a bit older yet before we leave them alone for such a long period of time. Hope you continue to enjoy the Forum, and post a picture or two.

thank you for your help with our economy...
hope to meet you someday.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the welcome.
It is good to be onboard, but as a foreigner I will try not to impose myself on your forum, but contribute if I feel I have something to offer.
Around Melbourne, Victoria, we certainly have a number of great rides including:
The Black Spur and Reefton Spur, both of which are just N E of Melbourne
and
The Great Ocean Road which is S W of Melbourne
By anyone's standards these are world class motorcycle roads.
My photos never seem to be up to scratch for posting - but I am working on it.:)
And yes I have received the patch and stickers... and I am more than happy to display the along side my BMWMCCVic and Pashnit stickers. Not that I am really big on those things - being discreet can still convey the message to those that have an interest.
Now, some people do go over the top in the sticker department ... I came across this photo a while back (definitely not my bike and unfortunately it had to be an Oz biker)

Welcome, what language do you speak down under? :rofl
:dance
We come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
I said "do you speak my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich.
We come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
I said to the man "are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
Livin' in a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover.
:dance
