Whoooo-hooooo. Took the new Rockster out for the break in ride. It has been killing me to have it sitting there in the garage since saturday. what a perfect night - the longest night of the year. got home from the store a little after 7 pm and took her out.
could it be possible that i like this one a leeetle bit better? yup. she fired right up after sitting unattended for four cold, snowy days. it was a brisk 26 degrees when i left the house.
went by my brothers to see iffen he wanted to ride. nope - the pussy! (just kidding, les....put the baseball bat down) so then i headed north of grand rapids to rockford to visit a harley riding friend. she and her sweetheart were just sitting down for a cup of tea (ahhh, that was nice). they thought i was nuts to be out riding. yup.
everything worked great. trying to scrub in the new tires and keep the revs below 4k to break her in. yipppeee. did 53 miles tonight. love the bike...can't wait to ride when it is nice and warm....like the high 30's or something!!
