Here's a great site for Californians. I check it before I leave for work or home.
It's a live feed of all the traffic incidents on all the highways managed by CHP.
Sometimes I look at it for entertainment. There's a lot of wierd stuff going on out there.

I recently bookmarked this page: KPIX 5 Bay Area Traffic (http://www.kpix.com/traffic/ALL.html). It carries the CHP info as well as their own traffic reports.

Not to hijack your topic, but if you are ever interested in the traffic conditions in the Puget Sound area you can check out this web-site. You can also look at all of the traffic cameras located around the area.
