My wife and I have been riding for about 10 or 11 years. I have been riding for about 35 years riding enduro's . We have a 99 K1200lt that we bought last January. We love to tour in the mountains when time allow's. We live in Lewisville Tx. just norh of Dallas . Glenn and Lou

Big diff from enduro bikes to the LT! They just don't skip around on the dirt quite as well:laugh

Welcome to the Forum Glen and Lou. I remember Gateway BMW in St. Louis having a picture of a guy who rode his LT off road. Seems he also got brave and tried to go through water covering a trail. The picture was gtaken by the guy himself of the bike standing upright in the water on its own. Keep the LT on pavement and post pictures when you get a chance.
