"signature" will not post

When I try to add a "signature" I get the following message:

"There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period."

and the text is not added as a signature.

Any ideas?

The signature option is checked

Thanks Luis.

I'm familiar with the editing features; posting my avatar, personal info, etc. was no problem at all. But my "signature" is not showing up at the bottom of my post (s).

The text appears in the "Preview" window okay, but when I hit SAVE SIGNATURE the following message appears:

"There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period."

Any ideas?
