Clutch Repair for R1100RT

Can anyone tell me what it would cost to replace a clutch on a 96 R1100RT? After being away from my bike for some time I returned to find it in not so good shape. The clutch is definitely on the fritz. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Mark

I need a little better definition of the technical term "on the fritz." Is it stuck from rust and not releasing? Is it slipping? Has it become oil contaminated? Is the cable stretched, sticking or broken? What makes it seem to be "on the fritz"?
