1200 rt right turn signal lens replacement

When I dropped my RT the right turn signal lens cracked and I thought I will buy one and just replace it. It turned out that it looks like there is a lot disassembling to happen before I can reach the lens and replace it. Any experience in this respect what is the best way to replace the turn signal lens.
