my early 85 k100 has not idled below 1150 since my dealer did tune up 3 1/2 yrs ago
this winter i replaced air intake bushings and discoverd intake manifold clamps below throttle bodys were loose . upon reassembly i discover idle stop screw doesn't even touch stop . it's not enrichner cable and not choke lightswitch . take it to local motorcycle repair shop for sync. job #4butterfly had been tamperd with holding everything open .he can solve that ,but cant adjust #4bleeder screw because of fuel regulator teed in like manual says makes it fluctuate so much any help greatly appriciated

Get 1, 2, and 3 synched. Then pull the hose off #4, attach the manometer hose and synch #4 to the rest. Ignore the T. If you still get wild fluctuations then you have a compression or intake valve issues.

thank you for your responce going to take her back today and try again.
couple more quick questions. in theory is #4 cylinder always less efficiant than the rest because of this hose? i read a post that stated putting a restrictor in regulator line cuts down on wild fluctuations it also stated youcan leave the hose off?any thoughts or comments really appriciated. alsoread about squeezeing regulator for more pressure by adding tension to bypass spring? thank you again.
