Motion Avatar

How do I make one of these cool avatars that either shows motion or flashes a number of different images? I have downloaded several, and they are some kind of file labelled ".php" which is new to me.

i used morpheus software. check out their homepage here. (http://www.morpheussoftware.net/) and see if it will do what you want.

i picked it by googling 'morphing software' and 'animated gif software' and when i found one with a trial version i was done.

it was SUPER easy to use, check out a creepy morph of my friend dan here. (http://www.leetonium.com/sushi/dan.html) if i decide to make more morphs, i would send them some money and get a full registered copy. as it is, i did the avatar and this creepy one, and i'm done.
