Anyone else out there having problems with Gustafsson? I purchased the wrong fairing windscreen last June, returned it, but still cannot obtain refund. I have called Mr. G 10 times and received 10 promises but no check yet?

I'm going to be purchasing a new windscreen for my RS this coming spring, and Gustaffson was certainly one of the vendors I was looking at. They're less expensive than some of the others, but I've currently got a Parabellum on my S, no issues with them.
I'll stand by and listen for others experience on this one....

This man has no idea of time believe me... I wanted to replace the screen on my S bike which I broke when unloading. I called the gent a least 15 times over a period of 18 plus months and the answer was the same each time next week or next month or call me back... He finally tired of my calls and admitted that the one machine needed for the S shield was down and that it would be up and running next week, next month. Finally I was able to purchase the shield which I am very happy. I really think it is a one man operation. Stay on his back.

Gustafson is the brand where the manufacturer refuses to drill the mounting holes, but will sell you a tool. His reasoning is bogus. Not worth the effort IMHO.

I have heard that he supplied atool in years past but to br honest the S shield that I purchased last spring was drilled and it did fit.

In their defense, I had great luck with them. Bought a smoke shield for an 'S' fairing. Showed up in a week, all drill holes lined up perfectly, and looked great. The only problem is that the bonehead owner of the bike (me) put it up on the centerstand on hot blacktop. My one week old windshield was shattered as was the nearly impossible to replace 'S' fairing.

Lets not get into arguemnt about who is the bigger bonehead just let it be said that while unloading my S from the bed of a pickup alone it never occured to me that my feet would not touch the planks -until they didn't.Fortunately this was a few years back and the faruings were still plentiful. O yeah, this was the first Gustafson screen I broke, others followed.
