I need help to determine if I can replace the stock shock absorber on my 1992 K75 with a used shock from a 1991 thru 1995 K75S.

Do you know about MaxBMW's parts fiche? It will answer lots of parts questions. Give it a try.

Yes you can.
If your bike is a low seat model, it is possible that it also has a slightly shorter shock. If the shock from the S is standard length, it might raise your seat height 1/2 - 3/4".
Measure the extended length of the shock eye to eye while the bikes are on the centerstand or the shock is off the bike to get an idea if they are similar.

Sorry, but I have to ask: Why would you want to do this (unless you needed something temporary or couldn't afford an upgrade) ? General consensus is that ANY aftermarket shock is better than stock shocks on K-bikes.:scratch

I have to disagree. I think the K75S shock is an excellent item. I have one on my K100RS (with the K100 spring) and after 50,000 miles, it's still working well.
