Given our forecast of wet, nasty, and possibly cold weather through the Thanksgiving week, I doubt many will be traveling by motorcycle where I live.
But whether on your bike or in the cage, you will want to know that the I-20/59/65 intersection in Birmingham, Alabama, is still under repair, with traffic being routed to alternate roads.
If traveling the East/West route on I-20/59, the best option is to simply go around Birmingham on the 459 loop and skip town altogether.
If you are taking I-65 South, you can also take the loop and exit the 459 at Hoover.
If you are taking I-65 North from that interchange (20/59/65) in Birmingham proper, plan an alternate route.
Whether traveling or not, best wishes to all for a safe and happy holiday.
