I thought I'd put this thread up so folks could document a neat feature they've found in vB.
I've discovered that on the main forum page, there are little arrows on the right end of the thick blue bars. If you click those, it will collapse the forums on the front page and allow you to see the Who's online and birthday announcements at the bottom of the page. I use the New Posts function to find new posts, so I don't really need to see which forums have new posts.
