I have a 1997 R1100GS and it appears that need to Helicoil one of my cylinder studs. :cry The BMW service manual calls for 3-Bond 1209 to seal the cylinder base to the engine case. Does anyone have a real world sealer that can be used (something available from and auto supply)? Also, am I right thinking that I will need the M10X1.5 Helicoil? Thanks for any information.
