I'm now riding a new to me R1100RT after riding a K1200LT for several years. Love the lighter weight and the boxer engine. I have noticed that the RT foot pegs feel narrower than the KLT, the feet needing to be more tucked into the sides of the bike on the RT. Being long legged I feel a bit cramped. It seems that slightly longer pegs would give me more room for my feet to move outward just a bit. I don't want to lower the pegs, just have more room on the outside edge for my feet. I find myself riding with my size 11 feet half way off the pegs and then consciously have to tuck them against the bike again to be fully on the pegs.

Does anyone make slightly longer rider pegs than stock RT pegs? I know longer pegs might compromise ground clearance but I'm not a serious canyon carver.
I had bigger "comfort" pegs on a 96 GS that worked very well. Anything similar out there for a R1100RT? I thought about Ilium Works floorboards, but the cost is prohibitive.

I put a lowering set on my RT, I'm six four and the difference in comfort was marked. http://www.ascycles.com/images/products/suburbanmachinery/DL3_sm_bike_footpegkit.jpg
