...is being played today from Ottawa,our nation's capital,between the BC Lions from Vancouver(close enough to my home town to root for) and the Saskatchewan Roughriders from frozen Regina Saskatchewan,in the middle of the Great Plains.

It is not the NFL...the rules are a little different...but it is entertaining as all get out and the unexpected happens with enough regularity to keep football fans on the edges of their seats.

Kickoff is 1:00 PM Pacific Time.And no,we won't see Janet Jackson's boob at halftime.

The game is actually being played between the BC Lions, and the Toronto Argonauts. Saskatchewan lost the playoff to BC on a last second 47 yard field goal and an overtime missed 17 yard FG by Saskatchewan. The game starts at 5:00 pm EST.

Seattle is playing Miami in the same time slot...

Hello fellow CFLers; We don't get a team to cheer for very often out here. BCs last 4 games have been heart-stooppers. Gaurenteed excitement!

It's 7-0 for BC at the end of the first quarter.

hello; Ah well, another dissappointment. They did provide lots of entertainment this year though, best year I can remember.

Now that there s no Hockey, and the Lions lost, must truly be winter.
