Anybody have information about these, whether they work.
NGK & Bosch are the ones I am reading about. Do the multi electrodes work? I've used them on a car and they seem to work fine.
??

The only ones I've heard anything negative about are the "Splitfire" plugs. Don't remember specifics, but they're not as good as the manufacturer claims them to be. As far as the rest of them go... Can't hurt, probably won't help. I've experimented with plugs and wires and stuff in the past and found that my seat-of-the-pants is not sensitive enough to be able to notice a difference. I figure BMW has more engineers that I do, so if they are happy with the original plugs, then I am too. :)

A few K1200LT riders, including me, have switched to the Splitfire platinum plugs with good results. Smoother throttle response and idle speed. The only reason for the platinum is electrode tip life as far as I know. Any other benefits would be due to other construction particulars. YMMV
