My wife would like to replace the standard windscreen on her F800ST and I've been looking online at Cee Baily's and Parabellum's. Cee Baily states that their windscreen will not fit with bar risers and there's no comment on Parabellum's site.

My wife's bike has a 1 1/2" riser installed and I'd like to know if anyone out there has installed a replacement windscreen from either of these manufacturers successfully.

Parabellum's web site does show an installed windshield but the picture does not really show the distance from the brake fluid resevoir to the windshield and whether it does indeed interfere with the raised handlebar configuration.

Any comments and suggestions would be appreciate.

Before you and your wife follow many of us on that frustrating search for the right windshield, you may want to look at the adjustable windshield/bracket system at madstad.com. The complete system has its own windshield and an adjustable position system that should be able towork for most people. I had a madstad bracket on my V-Strom 1000 and loved it. Unfortunately, madstad did not start producing a system for the ST until late last year, after I had gone from the original tall shield to a laminar lip attachment to a MRA Vario. I like the MRA, but if I could, I'd get the madstad. Good luck!
