howdy - i am in the process of putting together a list of west-coast motorcycle publications, forums, clubs and groups for the purpose of promoting our upcomingrally in oregon.

i've googled 'til my fingers bled and am doing pretty good... but could always use the suggestions of the locals.

the goal is to reach outside our little world and promote our rally to bmw riders and their guests who may not be aware that our rally is heading to the pacific northwest.

publication lead times are long, so any ideas you have will be greatly appreciated.

thank you in advance.

ian

I believe Free 2 Wheel is no longer in production. It was a great little mag, the first free paper in SoCal. Friction Zone is now the leading publication in the area. Riders Review is another free magazine.

Wonder if Craig's List would be a useful, non-conventional way of advertising the Rally?

Hows about link hopping from those already known.

I know SoundRider has a few groups listings. (http://www.soundrider.com/links/clubs/?brands=BMW)
