Wisconsin's Rustic Roads Tour

I was planning on going on some of Wisconsin's Rustic Roads when things finally warm up. I have compiled all 108 roads/routes to my garmin and if you would like the Map Source file just PM me with your email address and I will send it. I noticed on the Wisconsin DOT web site that if you document that you were on 10 roads you will get a patch and a certificate for riding 25 or more roads. These are well worth doing! There was a rep on site at the 2007 rally, I got my patch on the spot, instant gratification, lol!

I have done about 80 out the rides on the list but never have gotten around to getting a patch or the certificate; not my thing. That said you are in for a lot of fun. The roads themselves are a mixed bag and difficult to compare. A few will leave you scratching your head wondering why you took the time to get there, but there are many gems that you would never have found if you don't use the Rustic Road system.

That was more than likely Ron Thompson, who is also head of Motorcycle Safety in Wisconsin. Nice guy.
