I want to convert my 1980 to electronic ignition, and it looks like the Boyer Bransden MKIII is the one for 79-80 models (according to the Motobins website)

Question: What are thoughts on the BB MKIII?
Second, is it difficult to order from Motobins.uk? Dollars vs Pounds etc...?

Thanks

Just use your credit card and they will pop it in the mail.

I used Motobins one time a couple years ago -- no problems. Visa automatically did the currency conversion, and the shipment was quite timely. I would use them again if they had something I couldn't get on this side of the Big Pond.

I've used both and the Boyer crapped out on my. Replaced it with a Dyna from Motorrad Elektrik and never looked back.

YMMV

I bought a handlebar master cylinder kit from them. Wonderful service...

In fact, the package got from the UK to New York quicker than some of the packages I get from back home in New Mexico.

Motobins is a great place to get parts. I have ordered many things from them and am constantly amazed how quickly I receive my order. This is a top notch internet source.
