The TV news is reporting that Kerry has conceded the election, and will make an official concession speach at 11AM Eastern time this morning. Thank God, it's over!!!

Now we can get back to the really important news stories everyone needs to know about, like... Is Oprah gaining weight again?

And also such important topics as """does Al Roker look better as Oprah than Oprah?" (http://fr.news.yahoo.com/041029/74/44chz.html) :D

this just in. Al and Oprah could be one in the same person. Anyone ever seen the two of them (or three/four of them depending on their current weight) in the same room together???
I join you my brothers in celebrating the END of election season. Sometimes I gotta believe that there is a better way to spend 1.35 billion freakin' dollars.

It isn't over, it's just beginning......

I'm serious... just because the election is over, even if your guy lost, don't give up on what ever particular cause gets you the most fired up. Join the NRA, ACLU, GLAD, AMA, whatever floats your boat. Get active or stay active. Just because it may not be "your" guy in the big chair, keep pushing for your cause. Even with the election as caustic as it was, voter turnout was WAY lower than it should have been...

I agree and if you look at our own elections at MOA then it is sad that not more people are involved just in our little "world".
My previous post was just a stress reliever as I am over the negative attitude of either side, especially the local Floriduh elections were tough. What ever side anyone is on, we all still live in the best country on this planet.

Ok, back to normal :coffee

So, KBasa Dave....does this mean that you can't count on Old Leatherneck to vote for you in the next MOA election??

Don't know if anyone had already seen this or would be interested. It's a county by county breakdown of the voting. A bit more detailed that just a "red" state or a "blue" state.

Hmmmm, If Chicago, LA, SF, and NY city had voted for Bush, it would have been no contest whatsoever.
I was discussing a remark made on the radio by a woman from New York who said "I dont understand what is wrong with those people in the middle" about the election.
My friend was from Philadelphia, and he said that most folks from the new england states dont travel the rest of the country, and h ave no idea how people in the midwest live, or why they think how they do. He also doesnt understand how someone that has lived their while lives in New York City and never left can consider themselves worldly.
