Ok Paul here’s one looking out my back door at 5:00 pm this evening. Your old stompin ground at Topeka Kansas. Been a long time since the weather stations have issued a blizzard warning but that’s what they are telling us tonight.
Keeping with Kansas tradition we had a good covering of ice first.
I will try to post results of storm tomorrow.

I did have some great times with this group. I still stay up with many of them and many are still in the ski business. There was a lot of hard living, about as much as my body could endure. At the Club you pretty much ski/teach all day and party with the guests most of the night. I was the second oldest guy in this wild bunch.
I took my full cert. PSIA test at Breckenridge many years ago. I recall a run known as Devil's Crotch. it must have been part of Devil's Triangle. Good for your brother living in Breck! What is he up to these days?

...as much as my body could endure...
I get tired just thinking about the partying we did in those days. :laugh I had my CSIA Level I, and was on the ski patrol as well, so there were many nights on hill.
The Devil's Triangle in Breckenridge was the area between Fatty's, Angels Rest, and Seamus O'Toole's saloons. :D My brother's been back in Canada for many years. He's sort of retired, and does construction work part time.
Here's another snow shot, with my daughter Bri and a friend:

Four goldens. Three play constantly. Barley, my sidecar companion (Pg 12 of the February 11 ON) hunts constantly so I rarely get all four in one photo. I keep cutting back his food and he keeps getting chunkier. He looks like a bratwurst with a tail.
I discovered today that he was digging up potatoes from last year's crop (under three feet of snow, no less!) and chowing down.
