They've been replaced by Road Pilots, I believe.

I had them on the VFR and took them off before they wore out. I thought they took too long to warm up, weren't all that sticky once they did warm up and just generally felt creepy.

No word on the replacement version, though.

Dave is correct. While 100's are still available, the Pilot Road is now their top sport touring tire. Reports have ben very positive about ride, handling, traction, and longevity. I got 15K out of a rear and have bought another one. The fronts wear on the sides and I replaced mine at 12K.

I loved both the 100x I had before and the Pilot Roads I have on the Triumph now. But I have a sneaking suspicion you'd like Pilot Sports better on the S, unless you've got some long slab miles planned.

1) Pilot Roads are a great sport-touring tire for the S. I'm on my 2nd set now, got 11,700 out of the first pair. I have no chicken stripes on these- i'm using every bit of tire there is.
2) If you are doing mostly aggressive sport riding, go for something like the Pilot Sport or Pirelli Diablos.
3) Get your butt over to Pelicanparts.com, go to Tech Forums, and hang on the R1100S site there- it is S only, and very much more focused on that beast than this site is.

4) Do a search on previous tire threads before asking this question there- you will likely get flamed otherwise :nra
5) cya there, and on the road.
