I own an R1100s and live on a dirt road. Because the bike has no rear inner fenderwell, there is always mud and crap thrown into the underside.

I've seen that some other oilhead models have rear inner fenderwells. They seem to have similar swing arms as my bike. Has anyone ever tried to adapt any of them to fit an R1100s? Does anyone know if an aftermarket inner rear fenderwell is made for this bike? I have heard a rumor that a European firm is making one, but have never seen any leads.

Sincerely, Steve

Ilmberger makes a rear hugger for the R11S, as does Pyramid.
This is the Pyramid, in CF

I had an Ilmberger, which is much more attractive, but there was discussion a few years back about them fracturing at inopportune times (like when you're in motion), so i went with the Pyramid.

you need to head over to Pelicanparts.com, and get into the R1100S Tech Forum- much more focused info there on the 11S than anywhere else.
word of advice- use the search function once there before posting. most any question you have has already been asked, and answered, many many times.
