Windshield/mount r850r fit on a r1150r

Does anyone know if a R850R BMW OEM windshield will fit a R1150R? Of particular concern is the brackets; are they different?

The 850R is the same as the 1100R which is not the same as the 1150R

If you are buying a new BMW OEM windshield from a dealer, it will come with brackets and other parts.

If you are buying a BMW windshield from a private party, then make sure the seller has the brackets, wellnuts, etc.

If you are buying an aftermarket windshield from a vendor (like Parabellum, Cee Bailey, etc.) , then it will come with brackets, but it may also need BMW OEM brackets in addition to the aftermarket brackets.

If you are buying an aftermarket windshield from a private party, then make sure all brackets and other bits are there!

This may not be the answer to the question you asked, but I sense that you may be going down an unnecessarily expensive road.

If its a late R850R, it is the same as the R1150R.
