If they don't have a glue how would we? What/where is the source from whince you initiated this "Rebate"? I believe you need to provide a few more details.

First of all , Motodan I had inquired if anyone had received their rebate.
So a few more details for you!
Page 89 of the BMW On issue September of 2009 it advertises from July 18 - Sept 30 any active member IN GOOD STANDING ( that be me) as of 06/30 is eligible to receive 500 retail incentive after the purchase of a NEW unreported BMW motorcycle ,

So did anyone participate in the program and did you receive your 500.00 ?

This is the thread about the rebate.

You get the paperwork from the dealer that you bought the bike from when you bought the bike.

If not go back and ask them about it.

Our dealers never mentioned it. I learned about it here on the forum. The paperwork was available on line at the MOA web site and BMW web site. Here is a link. Summer of Love (http://www.bmwmoa.org/news/general_interest/summer_of_love_celebration)

I mailed my paperwork in August and just received a check last week.

I sent in all paperwork , I guess I'm anxiously waiting for the check to arrive .
If you sent it Aug and just received then I will look for mine next month.

Thanks,

Just for clarity - the $500 comes from BMW Motorrad U.S.A, formerly known as BMW of North American (BMWNA) which is the importer of motorcycles made by BMW AG in Germany. The $500 does not come from either BMW MOA or BMWRA - the two clubs whose members are eligible to receive the rebate from BMW.

Dealers are supposed to know about it - I got an email from my dealer. Dealers are supposed to handle the paperwork. What BMW MOA did was eagerly publicize this benefit to its members, so members would know about it should your dealer have failed to do so.

If you are eligible to receive the $500, and if your paperwork was sent to BMW, and if you are wondering where your rebate is - I would think it best to ask the dealer you bought the bike from.

Hey! Don't forget the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners (http://www.vintagebmw.org)! VBMWMO members were also eligble and I know that I helped two members apply for their rebates.

All the communications about my rebate brought it to my door yesterday.
I purchased my 800GS this last Jan. and the MRS 650 GS Sept so this helps .
Thanks for all the input .
See you in Redmond.
