Considering the purchase of an indoor motorcycle cover for a friend with an R75/5. I used a Nelson-Rigg DC-500 on my 2004 RT and liked it. I am also interested in knowing what size to buy. I am guessing a Large if I go with the Nelson-Rigg. The bike has no windshield or luggage. Any suggestions?

The manufacturer doesn't have specs you can refer to?

There is a general sizing chart. I know that sometimes these charts are not too accurate. Just hoping to avoid return/exchange hassles.

For an indoor cover, it doesnt much matter about being waterproof, windproof, etc. Just to keep the dust off the bike, right? I would just get a inexpensive one off ebay, large size.

A retired bed sheet works fine.

Yeah, these really are the best bet all the way around! Cheap, plentiful, and they don't scratch the surface...I never used anything other than a sheet on my bikes until I had to store them in a canopy or carport outside...if they are in a closed garage, really and truly, the bed sheet works best...

Indoors? Dry?

An old sheet works great.

Okay, I get it. Sweedish foam matress, comforter, electric blanket... :)

If the intention is just to keep dust off of it, cheap is good, right?

If you are in the cold an electric blanket is a must :bikes

All I've used since I got a garage.
