New to me 2001 1150GS Questions

I am going from a 2000 1100RT to a 2001 1150GS (64K miles) and have some questions. What are the differences between the ABS and Motronic. Does the 2001 GS have the CAN-BUS system?
It has left side tick\knock that does not go away when at operating temp. What should I check? I have the recorders up to 44K mile (first owner) and it looks like the “Cam Chain Tensioners “have not been replaced. The second owner said he did not replace them.

Hmm could possibly be a cam chain tensioner OR a Tb shaft worn out. You can check for a worn TB shaft by putting your finger on the cable pulley with the engine running. If the noise goes away the shaft is worn.
