Rear suspension leaks

I have a 89 R100GS with 113,000 miles on it. The rear suspension has started to leak. Has anyone ever rebuilt one of these? I like the outer yellow spring. Tank is black with yellow type.

I just found out that the '91 and after rear suspension units (with the rebound adjustment) can be rebuilt by Bruno, (he advertises in BMW ON). The suspension units like mine cannot, '89 R100GS. I hope this will help someone else.
