The following website is a great collection of Beemer stuff from the late 70's. I remember looking at these pictures and thinking about the future when I had a real job.

They look so nimble and svelte. I think the new bikes are missing those features.

They were leaving the batmobile stuff to George Barris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Barris_(auto_customizer)) at that time.

Looking at the white '77 RS with the solo seat makes me go... OOH, AAh I want!I love my K75 but I sure do miss my R90S.
Wow, thanks for the memories! I bought a brand new 1978 R80/7 back then, just like the one in the brochure, only brown. (Which I wish I still had of course).
:bliss
Not sure why my color does not show up on the brochure ???
I look at the pics of the RS and wish I had my 82 RS back. Smoke Red. Wife and I got a lot of miles and smiles out of it. I miss the old gal,the bike I mean. Still have wife

That's my doing...I thought it was useful in both places, so I made a copy in the Airheads forum. Mea culpa...
