Motard has left the building !!
Years ago, when I joined the forum, Motard seemed an appropriate name as the meaning in Belgium and France is a motorcycle enthusiast. The motorcycle marketing industry is now using the term to define a bike style and market segment - a segment which I really do not identify with -- soooo time for a change.
The new name, Bokrijder, translates - billy goat rider.
Riding an offroad 2002 GS, Bokrijder seems appropriate, and there will always be an offroad bike in my stable.
The term has an interesting history - do a Goggle - Bokkenrijders. I lived in that corner of Europe for many years and the Bokrijder legend was a part of a youngster's heritage. Part 17th century myth, as the goats were alleged to fly through the night sky; and part reality as many where executed for being members of the Goat Riders.

The "up yours" quote printed on Bully Hill wine bottles after the Taylor family sold the family name rights to the corporate wine world without Walter Taylor's approval. Legal battles ensued and ultimately, Walter was forced to drop the Taylor name, resulting in Bully Hill. Walter was also an artist and took every opportunity to give Taylor wine a three stooges eye poke, in both art, product and product labels - Old Goat wine - always irritating, but staying just under the legal radar.
