Actually, I found it quite enlighening. Whereas, I figured that Kerry was a poseur when it came to the talk about him being a rider, I can see from the photo that he knows how to ride after all. Notice that he's covering both the brake and the clutch levers, which is an excellent practice.

Really? Somehow I got the impression that you'd need to stand the bike up before doing hard braking and that it is excellent practice to be on the throttle in a turn. Do you cover the brake and clutch in turns?

The picture also tells a lot about his regard for safety. Maybe someone should tell him he won't get another purple heart if he gets scraped up. :eek

Do you cover the brake and clutch in turns? I can easily do it; I was taught to cover them both, all the time, in my MSF ERC class. You're always supposed to be ready to get out of harm's way, by accelerating, braking, or swerving. Besides, whether you're turning or not, you'd like to keep the levers covered even while you're on the throttle, so a little practice might make that a natural.

Are you saying that Kerry has more experience as a motorcyclist than you do? More training and more practice?

You guys are so completely against him, you won't consider that it might be nice to have someone in the Whitehouse who actually does like motorcycling. I do believe you'd cut off your nose to spite your face. Have you seen Bush on a motorcycle? Kerry owned a Paso at one point, not your typical cruiser.

Yes, Good to be in DC is funny, just like This Land.

But if your taste runs to unintentional satire, check out this little movie. (http://livingroomcandidate.movingimage.us/election/index.php?ad_id=1074)
