Hello,
I hope someone out there can help me.
I just got a 2005 Boxercup Replika Yestarday, I am so happy!!
My ride home was 50 miles. When I wipped my bike down I found a hairline crack and chip in the paint on my lower carbon fiber belly pan (the belly pan with the racing stickers on it).
Considering my bike is brand new and that belly pan cost $2,500 I immediatly drove back to the dealer that sold me the bike and they where great!! They had other new Boxercup Replika in stock and they took the belly pan off that bike for me and they will warranty it for the other bike so that my new bike is perfect.
Well I drove back home and my new belly pan is now chipped and cracked in a different spot!
Are the $2500 carbon fiber belly pans that FRAGILE or do I just have bad luck??
What should I do? Should I have the dealer get me another belly pan? Is that one gonna crack immediatly also? I am so frustrated, my bike only has 117 miles!!
Any oppinions out there?
