I have a 1995R1100GS that I bought with 63k miles and now has 84K. It runs great except for a noise from the front end. At about 65-70 depending on the road conditions, i get a "chhh, chhh, sound that last as long as the roadway had bumps or an uneven surface. I have had the Ohlin shocks rebuilt so that probably isn't the problem. Wondering if the Paralever bushings are worn out and this might be the likely cause.
Thanks,

My guess is that you are hearing noise from the lower shock bushing. Try regreasing the bolt and eyelet bushing.

Paul,
Thanks, I'll give that a try and let you know. I didn't grease it as you recommended when I re-installed after the rebuild.

I have greased that lower shock bushing on the Telelever on my 94 RS at least four times. I do it about every 30,000 miles. Very easy to do. If you let it go too long, the bolt will gall the bushing surface and you may have to replace it.
