Normally a very reliable source. As they say rumors of the HP2 engine making its way into a GS and other bikes have been swirling around all summer. Hope so, makes sense.

Valve cover with only 2 bolts is a leaker, waiting to happen! They are aluminum still. Looks good, though. An Adventure bike without serious head protection is very weak too. How come we have to add 300$ expensive crash bars to an adevnture bike??? Those plastic and/or aluminum skids on later models are not worthy of a 20$K bike, imo. Randy GSA1200'07 rider:). PS; I sure won't trade for twin cams! I may trade when they get 50+ miles per gallon on this model:) I'll even take less HP for that! The 1100'GSs were 85HP with plenty.

Aren't I old fashioned to want less? Round tail lights and /2s are getting remarkably old, like me:). I love my new fangled GSA, but wonder just where its all going with HP and high tech gadgets that need little to NO rider input! Go figure. They're going to SAFETY us to death...Wonder just how I got this far without all that... Randy:thumb
